ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - A-BHonor roll or Straight S's or higher - 3 in one school year results in an Academic Achievement patch to be worn on dobok (uniform)

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD - Straight A's (or S's) or higher - 3 in one school year results in an Academic Excellence patch to be worn on dobok (uniform)

TAE KWON DO ACHIEVEMENT - Personal achievement by integrity & good sportsmanship in a martial arts tournament or other such endeavor

INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

JUNIOR INSTRUCTORSHIP

-Requirements For Eligibility

1. Positive attitude and role model for under ranked students

2. Respectful towards parents, teachers, instructors, fellow students, & peers

3. Good techniques, stances, and focus

4. Must be at least Brown Belt (ages 7-14) or Blue Belt (ages 15 & up)

5. Must be knowledgeable of all fundamentals up to present rank

6. Must be at least 8 years of age

-Duties

1. Pad holding

2. Equipment clean up & organizing

3. Warm up

4. Observation and correction of student techniques, stances, and execution during warm up & pad holding

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

- Requirements for eligibility

1. Must have assisted with at least 30 classes

2. Must know all forms & techniques up through Orange Belt

3. Must be able to teach all techniques up to Orange Belt

4. Must know all fundamentals up to current rank

5. Must be able to teach stances

- Duties

1. Pad holding

2. Equipment clean up & organizing

3. Warm up

4. Observation and correction of student techniques, stances, and execution during warm up & pad holding

5. Teaching proper execution of techniques and stances

SENIOR ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

- Requirements for Eligibility

1. Must have assisted with at least 60 classes

2. Must be at least Recommended Black Belt

3. Must be able to teach all forms & techniques up to Orange Belt

4. Must know all fundamentals in detail

5. Must be able to teach beginning board breaks (Blue Belt)

- Duties

1. Pad holding

2. Equipment clean up & organizing

3. Warm up

4. Observation and correction of student techniques, stances, and execution during warm up & pad holding

5. Teaching proper execution of techniques and stances

6. Teaching all forms up to Orange Belt

7. Teach beginning board breaks to Blue Belts

8. Performing duties as grader during testing
